Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Alamuddin in Lebanon is a Lebanese as well as British barrister who has been an advocate for human rights for a long time. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her long career has been praised internationally for her achievements in international law and in the field that deals with human rights. The clients she has worked with have been several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight for recognition of Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney married American actor George Clooney and became a well-known name in pop media in the year the year 2014. Before this, she had established herself as a household name in the legal world for her ability to represent clients. The job she has is to represent multinational firms during court hearings and discussions concerning government regulations and also human rights or social justice. From 2015 onwards, she was a barrister at British Court in Doughty Street Chambers.
